Cartier
One of the oldest jewelers in the world. Cartier was founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis Francois. In 1874 Alfred the son took over the company expanding it to have watches. In 1904, Louis Cartier and Alberto Santos-Dumont designed a flat wristwatch with a square bezel design named the "Santos." Cartier is one of the most well known watches around the world. Queen Elizabeth wore a custom watch designed for her in 1938. Cartier were the jewelers who supplied the British Royal family along with many other very important people.
