James Avery
James Avery was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin and raised in Chicago. Joining the US Air corps brought him to Texas. He went from serving 44 missions in WWII to attending the University of Illinois to receive a B.F.A. in industrial design. He then went on to teach college level classes at the University of Colorado. There he explored jewelry making techniques with the students. To this day James Avery pieces are popular and worn all around the country. He is well known for his charms and designs of simplicity.
